With the finish line finally in our sights, we’re asking you to pitch in for the win! This Sprint to Victory event will bring together community leaders, sitting policy makers, and dedicated volunteers to celebrate the journey we’re on together. Please join us for an evening of fine Organic Preston Wines, tasty bites provided by Cloverdale’s own Beet catering, and our warm community of neighbors, friends, and activists this Wednesday as we work toward building the county we want to live in.

Melanie is THE ONLY DEMOCRAT running for the seat, and is facing two well-funded former Republicans who recently converted to “decline to state”. If we want to see a pro-environment progressive majority on our Board of Supervisors Melanie must win this race.

Even if you cannot attend please sponsor as you are able. The event has a suggested sliding scale ticket price of $25-$100, which can be paid by clicking here or at the door. Melanie is running for the North County seat on the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, District 4. Lynda Hopkins, District 5 Supervisor, supports Melanie and is looking forward to serving with Melanie after she is elected. Melanie is also proud to have the endorsement of Chris Coursey District 3 Supervisor.

She served two terms on the Cloverdale City Council and as Mayor during the 2019 floods, fire, and power shutdown. She built coalitions and delivered results that helped local citizens and businesses.

She served on numerous regional boards and commissions including Sonoma Clean Power, Sonoma County Transportation and Climate Authority, SMART, and Russian River Watershed Association 

Breaking the glass ceiling, Melanie will be the first woman ever elected to the Board of Supervisors in the north county.
